    Overview

    The Solar Sales Advisor is the first point of contact for most of solarcity’s residential customers, and is responsible for qualifying leads, scheduling appointments and providing handovers for Sales Specialists. The candidate will become a subject matter expert in energy rate plans and utilities. The ideal candidate must have a high degree of maturity, be a team player, and can handle a high volume of leads.

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the success of the organisation by guiding quality prospects through the sales channel
    • Prospect, generate interest, and qualify new accounts
    • Schedule consultations over the phone, prepare presentations and complete live handovers to our Solar Specialists
    • Determine suitability of sites using proprietary tools and satellite technology
    • Working to agreed individual and team KPI's
    • Deal effectively with all enquiries and represent solarcity in a professional manner
    • Must be able to elicit customers' interest and concerns which providing pertinent information to the customer
    • Developing and maintaining brand and product knowledge

    What you should bring to the team

    • At least 1 year of inside sales experience in a targeted environment
    • Well-developed sales methodology; ability to promote and sell benefits of technical products
    • Highly developed communication and articulation skills
    • Self-motivated and results driven
    • Previous call centre experience is preferred
    • Ability to learn new technology and procedures
    • Proficient with MS Office and CRM systems

    Hours & availability

    The Inside Sales Team is staffed 6 days a week. As such, the successful candidate must be prepared to work a full 40-hour week within 1 of these schedules:

    • Schedule 1 - Monday through Friday. Availability required between the hours of 10:00 to 20:00
    • Schedule 2 - Tuesday through Saturday. Availability required between the hours of 10:00 to 20:00

    Overview

    Delivering a seamless experience by welcoming customers and establishing a strong, long term relationship is a challenging yet rewarding role that is key to solarcity growth.

    The Customer Experience Manager is responsible for owning all communications between solarcity and our customers. The purpose of the customer experience team is to support and collaborate with all Sales Channels in assisting customers through their individual journey, from post-contract signing, and taking them through the key milestones of pre-installation, to post-activation and the beginning of their 20-year relationship.

    This requires the need to establish strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams such as Operations, Marketing and Finance. The Customer Experience Manager should have strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills and be solutions focussed to deliver the customers' expectations.

    Responsibilities

    Developing and driving customer support strategies for a great after sales experience. You will provide leadership and guidance on ensuring all customer service standards are met or exceeded to promote and meet the brand promise. You will be measured on how well you build and manage long term key channel relationships and ensuring the integrity of customer data by introducing controls, processes, tracking and metrics.

    Key accountabilities

    1. Lead customer experience team

    • Establish and manage a team of customer centric individuals to provide exceptional service standards
    • Ensure all new customers are moved through to installation in a seamless and timely manner
    • Resolve all queries post contract signing and ensure there is a feedback loop for all quality related matters
    • Suggest updates/amendments to procedural and policy related matters that enhance customer experience
    • Ensure administrative support is provided in a timely and accurate manner
    • Create/own customer templates, scripting, processes
    • Ensure processes and procedures promote an enjoyable customer experience
    • Champion customer centric processes within the wider Management Team
    • Minimise avoidable complaints and maximise opportunities by professional and effective communication and service to every customer

    2. Supporting solarcity acquisition and customer referral objectives. This includes:

    a. Customer referral network

    • Provide key support to ensure a sales/marketing funnel that delivers 40% of sales from referrals, whether they are a customer, third party or installer driven
    • Ensure referral programs are promoted and utilised fully

    b. Sales

    • Liase closely with sales management to support in regular review of quality of sales
    • Help drive improvements in the lead generation and sales process to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the various sales channels
    • Work with the sales management team aligning goals and metrics
    • Utilise mystery shopping systems for assessments, training and performance purposes

    3. Responsible for managing the end to end support of all energy services agreements

    • Create effective training tools for sales
    • Establish and manage transfer of agreements
    • Create and maintain solarsmart checks process
    • Co-ordinate energy audits

    4. Effective communication

    • Protect internal and external company partnerships
    • Promote interdepartmental communication through regular updates to wider team
    • Actively and constructively participate in team meetings and discussions
    • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
    • Promote a high performance work environment
    • Provide effective support to all sales channels
    • Assist with induction and training of new employees when required
    • Maintain a high level of integrity in all aspects of communication and performance
    • Ensure that all correspondence is processed in a timely and professional manner

    5. Compliance with Company policies and procedures

    • Operations management by creating, reviewing and implementing new customer centric processes, procedures or strategies
    • Ensure compliance with all legislation that affects or may affect your area of responsibility
    • Maintain full compliance to all Company policy and procedures
    • Report the breach, or potential risk of breach, to Company policy and procedures to the National Sales Director immediately
    • Supporting the CFO and the Finance Department in the operation of the Credit Policy process within the company
    • Maintain and protect the solarcity brand and name from adverse publicity

Overview: We are looking for NZ registered electricians to be part of this expansion. Initially, the work will be in the greater Auckland area. Travel nationwide may be required from time to time. We have an immediate need for an energetic, enthusiastic, NZ registered Electrician (preferably 2-3 years qualified) to install, test and commission domestic and industrial sized solar PV systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • To head up a team of 2 to 3 other technicians, installing a range of PV systems on roofs.
    • Ensure installations are completed to a professional standard, compliant with all NZ wiring rules and international standards as required.
    • Coordinate, motivate and assist in managing the 'on time' delivery of installations.
    • Liaising with customers, co workers and inspectors.
    • Adherence and implementation of company Health and Safety policies and directives.

    Any prior experience installing Solar PV systems will be beneficial but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

    Since a proportion of the work will include working outside and at height, applicants should have a predisposition, confidence and ability to operate in such conditions. However all necessary height safety equipment and training will be provided.

    Other requirements include a full, current, clean NZ drivers licence and a clean criminal record. The applicant must have good communications skills and be able to positively interact with both customers and other staff members.
