    Overview

    The Solar Sales Advisor is the first point of contact for most of solarcity’s residential customers, and is responsible for qualifying leads, scheduling appointments and providing handovers for Sales Specialists. The candidate will become a subject matter expert in energy rate plans and utilities. The ideal candidate must have a high degree of maturity, be a team player, and can handle a high volume of leads.

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the success of the organisation by guiding quality prospects through the sales channel
    • Prospect, generate interest, and qualify new accounts
    • Schedule consultations over the phone, prepare presentations and complete live handovers to our Solar Specialists
    • Determine suitability of sites using proprietary tools and satellite technology
    • Working to agreed individual and team KPI's
    • Deal effectively with all enquiries and represent solarcity in a professional manner
    • Must be able to elicit customers' interest and concerns which providing pertinent information to the customer
    • Developing and maintaining brand and product knowledge

    What you should bring to the team

    • At least 1 year of inside sales experience in a targeted environment
    • Well-developed sales methodology; ability to promote and sell benefits of technical products
    • Highly developed communication and articulation skills
    • Self-motivated and results driven
    • Previous call centre experience is preferred
    • Ability to learn new technology and procedures
    • Proficient with MS Office and CRM systems
    • Must be consistently customer focused to ensure high level of customer satisfaction

    Hours & availability

    The Inside Sales Team is staffed 6 days a week. As such, the successful candidate must be prepared to work a full 40-hour week within 1 of these schedules:

    • Schedule 1 - Monday through Friday. Availability required between the hours of 10:00 to 20:00
    • Schedule 2 - Tuesday through Saturday. Availability required between the hours of 10:00 to 20:00

    Overview:

    Customer Service

    • Maintain an understanding of solarcity's products and services

    FSP Purchase Order Management

    • Create and distribute purchase orders to all FSPs, including but not limited to installers and electrical inspectors
    • Escalate all variations to standard costs appropriately

    Post-activation Support

    • Assist the Customer Experience team in simple fault diagnosis and resolution
    • Engage FSPs post-installation to assist with any on-site repairs/remediation

    Financial

    • Ensure that the Board-approved FDA policy is adhered to. Escalate all potential breaches.

    Overview:

    As part of the Customer Experience team, reporting to the Customer Care Manager, you will serve as the primary interface between the customer and solarcity. You will own customer interactions post-installation. Working in a fast-paced environment with a high workload, key responsibilities you will be measured on include:

    1. Continuous improvement

    • Proactively recommend process efficiencies and solutions for improving the customer journey
    • Work to keep the customer experience as simple as possible

    2. Post-installation customer case management

    • Act as the primary point of contact for queries and concerns raised by customers, or where issues have been identified through internal monitoring
    • Provide immediate resolution of issues where possible, and for all other cases liaise with cross-functional subject matter experts to ensure prompt and efficient issue resolution
    • Report on all customer complaints and ensure prompt escalation of issues that you are not able to directly resolve
    • Respond to customer with agreed KPIs

    3. Technical fault support

    • Work cross-functionally to assist in developing a knowledge base for customer support
    • Own tasks and cases assigned to you from beginning to resolution, and consistently ensure all targets in relation to progressing customer jobs are met
    • Communicate resolution plan with customer, and liaise on installation timing and deployment of solutions where required

    4. Other

    • Cover when required for members of the wider Customer Experience Team
    • Champion process improvement to fix the root cause of problems and ensure the identified issue is avoided or minimised for other customers
    • Immediately escalate any issue where a possible health, safety or significant reputation or liability issue may arise

    What you should bring to the team

    Passionate about solar and emerging technologies with high attention to detail, you'll have a passion for making the customer's day. You will be able to handle a high workload, and proactively recommend solutions to the Customer Care Manager and other key stakeholders.

    You'll ideally have experience resolving issues associated with complex products or technologies. You will be skilled at Microsoft Office and have the ability to quickly pick up new systems. Salesforce experience is desirable but not essential.

Maintaining a log of occurrences and recommending changes to process as part of a continual service improvement initiative. You will own the dispatch of installers for all post-installation events and issues and assist the Head of Operational Delivery and the Head of Operations in resolving complex non-standard issues both pre-and post-activation.

The Auckland region has shown great interest and we are looking for qualified electricians to assist with the electrical installation of the work. Overview: We are looking for NZ registered electricians to be part of this expansion. Initially, the work will be in the greater Auckland area. Travel nationwide may be required from time to time. We have an immediate need for an energetic, enthusiastic, NZ registered Electrician (preferably 2-3 years qualified) to install, test and commission domestic and industrial sized solar PV systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • To head up a team of 2 to 3 other technicians, installing a range of PV systems on roofs.
    • Ensure installations are completed to a professional standard, compliant with all NZ wiring rules and international standards as required.
    • Coordinate, motivate and assist in managing the 'on time' delivery of installations.
    • Liaising with customers, co workers and inspectors.
    • Adherence and implementation of company Health and Safety policies and directives.

    Any prior experience installing Solar PV systems will be beneficial but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

    Since a proportion of the work will include working outside and at height, applicants should have a predisposition, confidence and ability to operate in such conditions. However all necessary height safety equipment and training will be provided.

    Other requirements include a full, current, clean NZ drivers licence and a clean criminal record. The applicant must have good communications skills and be able to positively interact with both customers and other staff members.
