    Responsibilities

    • Sales of residential solar energy efficiency services
    • Inbound and outbound warm and cold dialing required
    • Closing deals and signing contracts via phone and online conference calls
    • Utilizing online tools and conducting preliminary design evaluations to develop an initial system design
    • Generating project presentation and quotes for customers
    • Analysis of customer's current and projected electrical usage and savings we will deliver
    • Prospect for potential clients and turn this into increased business
    • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
    • Research and build relationships with new clients
    • Develop and implement strategies to get new leads into the business

    What you should bring to the team

    • At least 2 years of full sales cycle experience with a proven track record of success in a target driven role
    • Proven ability to build and develop business relationships
    • Experience building a book of referral business
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
    • CRM experience, especially Salesforce.com a plus

    Responsibilities/KPI's

    Marketing Automation Platform

    • Product owner of the Marketing Automation Platform
    • Elicit, document and communicate your recommendations for how things could be improved
    • Responsible for all aspects of the platform including:
    • Email templates
    • Multivariate testing execution (excluding design aspects)
    • Automations
    • Being the in-house expert on how to best leverage the platform
    • Technology aspects of email, SMS, Mobile Push when integrated with your platform
    • Segmentation inside the platform as directed by Marketing

    Please note you are not expected to design graphics, nor provide final copy. These will be delivered by other parties for integration by you.

    Support tasks

    • Loading of leads as provided by the Marketing team
    • Fixing problems and troubleshooting within the marketing automation platform
    • Reporting/Analytics
    • Owner of email analytics, and driver of their integration with the overall company reporting strategy
    • Ensuring emails are tracked
    • End to end reporting on the leads that are loaded into the business
    • Analytics surrounding multivariate testing

    What you should bring to the team

    • 1-2 years marketing experience
    • Experience with Marketing Automation tools ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Salesforce
    • An understanding of data - you are analytical and have strong excel skills

    Overview

    The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within our warehousing facilities. This role will serve to maximize space utilization as defined by the Materials Control Manager and will also monitor inventory levels and movements. The successful applicant will need to have a reliable vehicle and full NZ driver’s license to report to any of our Auckland locations on a given day - Mt Eden, Newmarket & Highbrook. On some days you will need to go to more than one of these locations, typically this would be Mt Eden or Newmarket in the morning and Highbrook later in the day.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintaining safe, tidy and efficient working conditions within our warehousing facilities
    • Receiving & issuing stock to our installers
    • Following all company policies, guidelines and work instructions
    • Pre-packaging for future orders
    • Maintaining a professional relationship with installers and 3PL warehouse staff
    • Identifying inventory discrepancies and making necessary corrections
    • Arranging shipping & overseeing stock transactions in and out of our warehousing facilities
    • Identifying opportunities to improve our inventory control processes
    • Issuing purchase orders and cyclical stock counts

    What you should bring to the team

    • 2+ years experience in a warehousing environment or post high school studies in subjects such as stock control, accounting, logistics or other relevant study. A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn will also be considered valuable as training will be given to the successful applicant.
    • You will be highly attentive to detail and able to think on your feet with a strong mathematical aptitude towards problem solving.
    • Must be willing and able to perform the physical demands of the job such as standing and walking within a warehouse for some of the day, lifting, stacking pallets etc.
    • You do not need to have a forklift licence, but you may be required to use a company vehicle and trailer for stock deliveries at times so experience with towing and backing a trailer would be advantageous. 
    • As we deem this a safety sensitive position you must be willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug test (at solarcity’s cost).

    Are you a social media expert whose keen to make a difference?

    We’re on the hunt for a Social Media Coordinator who has a knack for telling a great brand story. We need someone to work with our Graphic Designer and Copywriter to create content for our social media channels, as well as work with external providers to build and amplify a social media strategy that can lift our company’s brand profile. We’re installing a solar system every 45 minutes in NZ and we need that brand story amplified.

    We want someone who has a ‘can do’ attitude, an inquisitive mind and who isn’t afraid to bring ideas to the table. We need to develop and maintain our strong Facebook channel, while recreating the same success on LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram.

    If your experience is in community management, this isn’t the role for you. 

    Responsibilities

    • Maintaining an active social media presence for the businesses across Facebook and working to amplify the content that is already being produced 
    • Creating a brand presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and any other relevant channels 
    • Actively engaging followers and identifying opportunities for audience development
    • Developing key influence relationships
    • Work with the team to monitor effective benchmarks for measuring social media campaigns and impact 

    What you should bring to the team

    • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Communications & Marketing or relevant Digital Marketing Qualification or relevant industry experience

    Experience:

    • At least 2 years experience in digital marketing
    • Proven ability in growing social media audiences across platforms
    • Experience with social media monitoring, publishing and reporting platforms
    • Experience in copywriting and content development for social audiences

    Overview

    We are a fast paced organisation working in an exciting industry.  Our business is evolving and we are on the lookout for a likeminded Financial Controller to report into the CFO and help lead our finance team for our journey ahead.  This is a great role – full of variety and challenge which will draw on your previous experience in a similar role, your naturally numerate abilities and your strong interpersonal skills.

    Reporting into the CFO and overseeing a small but professional and effective finance team you will be responsible for a range of duties from overseeing financial accounting and management reporting to drive process improvement and the development of systems.

    You will drive the Finance function and the delivery of all transactional and accounting services to the Business.  Sitting between the CFO and the finance team you will leverage your team leadership and engagement skills to form effective working relationships with your established core team as well as the wider business.

    Responsibilities

    Financial & Management Reporting

    • Timely production of internal monthly financial and operational reports – for both management & board reporting purposes
    • Analysis and commentary as appropriate on financial information and its achievement of company goals
    • Preparation of appropriate financial reports for key stakeholders and applicable external parties
    • Analyse performance and services against goals/objectives and find innovative and more cost effective and efficient ways of working, and make recommendations
    • Manage the Westpac Receivable Book and Westpac internal audit requests

    Financial Processing & Control

    • Overall responsibility for ensuring financial transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner
    • Oversee cash and stock management processes and ensure working capital is optimised
    • Oversee billing processes and maintain accuracy of billing, cash management and reconciliation processes
    • Ensure statutory tax compliance is achieved by maintaining knowledge of current legislation and the implications of financial transactions being processed
    • Oversee all tax and statutory compliance
    • Manage internal controls, processes and the structure of the financial systems
    • Provide sound advice on new and/or improvements to business systems, processes and controls

    Financial Planning & Analysis

    • Assist in budget and forecast processes including the review and analysis of information for trends and inconsistencies 
    • Manage and consolidate forecasts on an as required basis, combining budgets, actual results to date and current information obtained from the SMT
    • Improve company budgeting and forecasting methodologies and BI/modelling tools
    • Identify and implement appropriate technology to gain process improvements

    Statutory Consolidated Financial Statements

    • Complete the annual statutory consolidated financial statements in an accurate and timely manner
    • Liaise with the external auditors and facilitate the audit process

    Staff Performance & Management

    • Establish and agree performance targets and outputs with direct reports
    • Provide support and direction to staff to enable them to achieve goals, recommend training and development initiatives which are relevant in improving performance and efficiency
    • Lead, coach and develop the finance team to maximise team outputs

    What you should bring to the team

    • CA qualification with 5+ years experience in a complex, early stage or fast growing business
    • Proven success as a Finance Manager / Controller 
    • Strong analytical skills
    • A high level of computer skills, especially Excel modelling
    • An ability to work to tight deadlines
    • Experience with Salesforce.com, financial systems (such as Xero) and BI tools (such as Adaptive Insights, Power BI) would be an advantage
    • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
    • Experience in utilities is advantageous
    • Desire to grow and take on further challenges
