    What we're looking for

    • No experience necessary as full training and ongoing coaching will be provided, however experience in a customer service or retail background will be an advantage

    Hours & availability

    Minimum of 20 hours per week between:

    • Monday-Friday: 4pm to 8pm
    • Saturday: 10am to 8pm

     You must be a New Zealand citizen/resident or holder of a current New Zealand work permit. Holders of a working holiday or student visa will not be considered.

    Responsibilities:

    • Sales of residential solar energy efficiency services
    • Inbound and outbound warm and cold dialling required
    • Closing deals and signing contracts via phone and online conference calls

    • Analysis of customers' current and projected electrical usage and savings we will deliver

    Overview:

    Our Compliance Team provides an integral function on our customer journey, ensuring we meet our legal obligations as well as ensuring that the solutions we provide our customers are accurately designed to meet their energy requirements and is suitable for their property. We are looking for a motivated Compliance Administrator with fantastic attention to detail and problem solving ability to join our team!

    Responsibilities

    • Work to close off tasks assigned within given timeframes
    • Work cross-functionally to resolve customer issues as soon as possible
    • Own tasks and cases assigned to you from beginning to resolution, and consistently ensure all targets in relation to progressing customer jobs are met
    • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve set outcomes

    • Create roof layout drawings using CAD tools

    Overview:

    We are a fast paced organisation working in an exciting industry. Our business is evolving and we are on the lookout for a like-minded Financial Controller to report into the CFO and help lead our finance team for our journey ahead. This is a great role – full of variety and challenge which will draw on your previous experience in a similar role, your naturally numerate abilities and your strong interpersonal skills.

    Reporting into the CFO and overseeing a small but professional and effective finance team you will be responsible for a range of duties from overseeing financial accounting and management reporting to drive process improvement and the development of systems.

    You will drive the Finance function and the delivery of all transactional and accounting services to the Business. Sitting between the CFO and the finance team you will leverage your team leadership and engagement skills to form effective working relationships with your established core team as well as the wider business.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    Financial & Management Reporting

    • Timely production of internal monthly financial and operational reports
    • Analysis and commentary as appropriate on financial information and its achievement of company goals
    • Preparation of appropriate financial reports for key stakeholders and applicable external parties
    • Analyse performance and services against goals/objectives and find innovative and more cost effective and efficient ways of working, and make recommendations
    • Maintain the Westpac Receivable Book and manage Westpac internal audit requests

    Financial Processing & Control

    • Overall responsibility for ensuring financial transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner
    • Oversee cash management processes and ensure working capital is optimised
    • Oversee billing processes and maintain accuracy of billing, cash management and reconciliation processes
    • Ensure statutory tax compliance is achieved by maintaining knowledge of current legislation and the implications of financial transactions being processed
    • Oversee all tax and statutory compliance 
    • Manage internal controls, processes and the structure of the financial systems
    • Provide sound advice on business systems, processes and controls

    Financial Planning & Analysis

    • Assist in the annual budget process including the review and analysis of information for trends and inconsistencies
    • Manage and consolidate forecasts on an as required basis, combining budgets, actual results to date and current information obtained from the SMT
    • Improve company budgeting and forecasting methodologies and BI/modelling tools
    • Identify and implement appropriate technology to gain process improvements

    Statutory Consolidated Financial Statements

    • Complete the annual statutory consolidated financial statements in an accurate and timely manner
    • Liaise with the external auditors and facilitate the audit process

    Staff Performance & Management

    • Establish and agree performance targets and outputs with direct reports
    • Provide support and direction to staff to enable them to achieve goals, recommend training and development initiatives which are relevant in improving performance and efficiency
    • Lead, coach and develop the finance team to maximise team outputs.

    Requirements

    • CA qualification with 5+ years experience in a complex, early stage or fast growing business
    • Proven success as a Finance Manager/Controller
    • Strong analytical skills
    • A high level of computer skills, especially Excel modelling
    • An ability to work to tight deadlines
    • Experiences with Salesforce, Xero and BI tools would be an advantage
    • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
    • Experience in utilities is advantageous

    As part of the Customer Experience team, reporting to the Head of Customer Experience, you will own all customer interactions post-sale. Working in a fast-paced environment, key responsibilities include:

    Customer portfolio management

    • Responsible for managing complete relationship of all assigned clients
