    Our Solar Specialists strive to exceed customer expectations and build strong relationships with home-owners. They actively identify and pursue leads, address customer's questions and concerns, and meet sales quotas of solar systems and energy efficiency services.

    Responsibilities

    • Sales of residential solar energy efficiency services
    • Inbound and outbound warm and cold dialing required
    • Closing deals and signing contracts via phone and online conference calls
    • Utilizing online tools and conducting preliminary design evaluations to develop an initial system design
    • Generating project presentation and quotes for customers
    • Analysis of customer's current and projected electrical usage and savings we will deliver
    • Prospect for potential clients and turn this into increased business
    • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
    • Research and build relationships with new clients
    • Develop and implement strategies to get new leads into the business
    • Identify potential businesses which could provide leads for the business and negotiate deal with them
    • Partner with businesses to identify and close new opportunities
    • Develop and implement strategies to create brand awareness for solarcity NZ
    • Research about new plans and schemes of competitors available in market and discuss their impact on solarcity
    • Develop and implement strategy to generate referral business for solarcity
    • Make sure all the processes being used to acquire sales are compliant to solarcity business rules and that they promote solaricity brand

    What you should bring to the team

    • At least 2 years of full sales cycle experience with a proven track record of success in a target driven role
    • Proven ability to build and develop business relationships
    • Experience building a book of referral business
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
    • CRM experience, especially Salesforce.com a plus

     You must be a New Zealand citizen/resident or holder of a current New Zealand work permit. Holders of a working holiday or student visa will not be considered.

    Overview

    We are seeking an administration superstar to join our Operational Delivery team in Nelson! In this role, you’ll actively manage the delivery of solarcity's residential installations from Customer Experience handover to Activation to ensure a smooth efficient service delivery that meets the expectations and needs of our customers. The successful applicant will be organised, enthusiastic and have great attention to detail to help ensure the post-sale installation process runs smoothly and to the highest degree of customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work with Head of Operational Delivery in developing and implementing department goals, objectives, and performance standards
    • Work closely with our Customer Experience team to ensure a smooth Delivery process
    • Actively manage your workflow and lead times to ensure customer satisfaction while achieving the business goals
    • Manage resources to optimize throughput and quality
    • Maintain accurate and up to date Salesforce records to ensure the highest standards of data integrity are maintained
    • Establish and manage site assessment and install calendars (including direct contact with our Service Provider network where required)
    • Assist our Customer Experience team in simple fault diagnosis and resolution 
    • Engage the Service Providers post installation to assist with any on-site repairs/remediation

    What you should bring to the team

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Planning and organizing, including prioritizing and managing own time
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Problem-solving
    • Experience in operational management preferably with trade experience
    • Microsoft Office experience essential
    • Bachelor's Degree desirable or relevant work experience
