    Responsibilities

    • Sales of residential solar energy efficiency services
    • Inbound and outbound warm and cold dialing required
    • Closing deals and signing contracts via phone and online conference calls
    • Utilizing online tools and conducting preliminary design evaluations to develop an initial system design
    • Generating project presentation and quotes for customers
    • Analysis of customer's current and projected electrical usage and savings we will deliver
    • Prospect for potential clients and turn this into increased business
    • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
    • Research and build relationships with new clients
    • Develop and implement strategies to get new leads into the business
    • Identify potential businesses which could provide leads for the business and negotiate deal with them
    • Partner with businesses to identify and close new opportunities
    • Develop and implement strategies to create brand awareness for solarcity NZ
    • Research about new plans and schemes of competitors available in market and discuss their impact on solarcity
    • Develop and implement strategy to generate referral business for solarcity
    • Make sure all the processes being used to acquire sales are compliant to solarcity business rules and that they promote solaricity brand

    What you should bring to the team

    • At least 2 years of full sales cycle experience with a proven track record of success in a target driven role
    • Proven ability to build and develop business relationships
    • Experience building a book of referral business
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
    • CRM experience, especially Salesforce.com a plus

    Overview

    The Solar Advisor is the first point of contact for most of our residential customers. This is where the magic happens. You will be responsible for qualifying leads, scheduling appointments and providing handovers to our Sales Specialists. You must be a team player, have a mature approach and be able to handle a high volume of leads.

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the success of the organization by guiding quality prospects through the sales channel

    Overview

    We are looking for NZ registered electricians to be part of this expansion. Initially, the work will be in the greater Auckland area. Travel nationwide may be required from time to time.

    We have an immediate need for an energetic, enthusiastic, NZ registered Electrician (preferably 2-3 years qualified) to install, test and commission domestic and industrial sized solar PV systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • To work independently and, at times, head up a team of 2 to 3 other technicians, installing a range of PV systems on roofs.
    • Ensure installations are completed to a professional standard, compliant with all NZ wiring rules and international standards as required.
    • Coordinate, motivate and assist in managing the 'on time' delivery of installations. 
    • Liaising with customers, co workers and inspectors.
    • Adherence and implementation of company Health and Safety policies and directives.

    Any prior experience installing Solar PV systems will be beneficial but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

    Since a proportion of the work will include working outside and at height, applicants should have a predisposition, confidence and ability to operate in such conditions. However all necessary height safety equipment and training will be provided.

    Other requirements include a full, current, clean NZ drivers licence and a clean criminal record. The applicant must have good communications skills and be able to positively interact with both customers and other staff members.

    Overview

    You'll be taking aboard strategic Salesforce initiatives within an agile and innovative culture.     Overview:

    As part of the Customer Experience team, reporting to the Customer Care Manager, you will serve as the primary interface between the customer and solarcity. You will own customer interactions post-installation. Working in a fast-paced environment with a high workload, key responsibilities you will be measured on include:

    Continuous improvement:

    • Proactively recommend process efficiencies and solutions for improving the customer journey
    • Work to keep the customer experience as simple as possible

    Post-installation customer case management:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for queries and concerns raised by customers, or where issues have been identified through internal monitoring
    • Provide immediate resolution of issues where possible, and for all other cases liaise with cross-functional subject matter experts to ensure prompt and efficient issue resolution
    • Report on all customer complaints and ensure prompt escalation of issues that you are not able to directly resolve
    • Respond to customers within agreed KPIs

    Technical fault support:

    • Work cross-functionally to assist in developing a working knowledge base for customer support
    • Own tasks and cases assigned to you from beginning to resolution, and consistently ensure all targets in relation to progressing customer jobs are met
    • Communicate resolution plan with customer, and liaise on installation timing and deployment of solutions where required

    Other:

    • Cover when required for members of the wider Customer Experience Team
    • Champion process improvement to fix the root cause of problems and ensure the identified issue is avoided or minimised for other customers
    • Immediately escalate any issue where a possible health, safety or significant reputation or liability issue may arise

    What you should bring to the team:

    Passionate about solar and emerging technologies with high attention to detail, you'll have a passion for making the customer's day. You will be able to handle a high workload, and proactively recommend solutions to the Customer Care Manager and other key stakeholders.

    You'll ideally have experience resolving issues associated with complex products or technologies. You will be skilled at Microsoft Office and have the ability to quickly pick up new systems. Salesforce experience is desirable but not essential.
