The fine print

Pricing based on supplying solarZero energy service to a home with north facing roof at degree pitch with no shading and using solar radiation data from NIWA. Energy use based on information provided by customer and data from power bill. Grid rates based on exclusive tariffs available to solarZero customers and expected meter configuration. Savings based on expected annual 5% reduction in power use through energy management and soarZero monitoring and power prices increasing by 3.5% per year. 

Carbon savings are calculated as the average CO2 emissions from grid electricity in NZ is 0.123 kg of CO2 per kWh. Every kWh the solarZero panels generate offsets a unit from the grid. The number of trees comes from an assumption that a native New Zealand tree lives for 30 years and it will soak up about 107.8kg of CO2.

Broadband savings benchmark against current published rate of $85 (including GST) per month as at 1 March 2019. To be eligible for the bonus appliance you must sign up to unlimited broadband through solarcity. You may choose one of four predefined promotional items - please note these items may be subject to change depending on stock availability. You will receive a promotional code via email once your solarZero system has been installed on your property. This promo code is valid to be redeemed on ONE promotional item, as per the email you will receive on installation. The promotional code is valid for six months from the date of issue. Any orders containing more than one of the free promotional items will be considered void and will be cancelled on receipt. If you cancel your unlimited broadband plan, you may be required to return your appliance to us. Delivery of your item is free to your door to most locations in New Zealand. You will be called to arrange a suitable delivery time and date. Please note items can be delivered to the ground floor only, and old appliances will not be taken away. The product you select is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
